Najmul Hussain currently serves as the Academic Director for Red Professional after having served as Project Director of Dubai South. He was also the founding member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) UAE Chapter and served as Vice President for the same.
Najmul comes with 20 years of leadership experience improving strategy implementation, PMO management and Governance, project execution and business performance for top tier government & international companies. Accomplished in designing, implementing and applying corporate governance, portfolio management and projects, his vision and expertise has driven notable performance improvements in the various organizations that he has worked in.
He is currently focused on Dubai’s most prestigious project – Dubai South (a 140 square kilometer, multi- phase development with the world’s biggest airport, Al Maktoum International Airport, at its core.
Najmul has played a major role in successfully transforming Dubai World Central in achieving notable business results including the establishment of its Program Management Office. Primarily responsible for managing landside infrastructure portfolio with infrastructure Programs and Projects, comprising of developments within the Aviation, Logistics, Residential, Telecom and Commercial businesses. Possessing a broad range of experience with Business, Project and Portfolio Management, His collaborative leadership style and background in Strategy, Governance, Program and Project management is reflective in his commitment to strategic objectives, quality and continuous improvement.
Najmul has played a key role in successfully transforming many projects in the region using Lean Six Sigma concepts. Being a Management Consultant himself his role in reforming processes across various functions has leveraged him with an edge over the others.
